Ch-ch-changes

Sorry for the recycled title, but sometimes it is called for. This, of course, would be one of such times.

We finally moved into the house -- after what seems like an eternity, but in reality was a mere six months, we are living at Eiderdown. We are in OUR home, sharing OUR lives and further cementing the US, WE, OURS and all those other pronouns or titles.

While the house is amazing, and I love it a little more every day; it was not until we moved in that it all hit me. ALL... As in the whole kit and caboodle. The coupledom that has enveloped us both, the family and traditions that we are starting, the leaving the me and mine behind to be we and ours. Ken reminded me again that there is no one on this earth I would rather go through all of this with and for.

We are slowly but surely settling into the house. Ken actually comes to kiss me goodbye before heading "out the door" for work -- a whole 50 feet away in the casita. It is odd to have him actually leave for work. But I think it will be great in the long run.

The kitchen rocks! Cannot wait to make Thanksgiving dinner in it -- everyone is invited! We are doing laundry like crazy and finding places to put things and all sorts of good stuff like that. All the things that make it ours. The window coverings are even nice.

I am totally convinced that we did the right thing by buying this house, and making it our HOME.
PS: we found a renter for the townhouse... he moves in in June and all is well!
