- We are in the house. It is amazing and we both love it. It really is OUR home -- pieces of each of us strewn throughout the house. And a little of my Mom and Ken's folks here and there too. It really is already feeling like a HOME.
- Invitations are ordered! I am so excited to have that major monkey off our backs. I figure we will send them out in mid August, so travelers have time to book flights and such.
- Teri and Ann Marie have started work on the bridal shower. I think I am getting excited. We are talking periwinkle! Yay!!!!
- Ken gets home from another India trip tomorrow... I am counting the minutes until I get to see him and hug him again! Yay home!!!!
- In Ken's absence I went back to the old house to finish cleaning out the Master Bedroom and closet for the new renter. Oh My GOD! No one in their right mind should have this much "stuff." I made 2 trips to Goodwill with more than 12 bags of clothing and various other items, and have more than 10 bags of garbage in waiting to go out. Top that off with brining three more bags and a full backseat of clothing back to the new place with me. And I dare say, "I have nothing to wear."
- They poured the deck for the pool today and i had the guy scribble Ken's and my initials in a small spot. This is so totally OUR house.. Wait, I said that already, huh?
- We will be back into wedding things when Ken returns home -- starting next weekend with registering. The questions are coming in about where we are registered, so we are going to go do it soon. Right now we are looking at Mikasa, Macy's and Target (with a small bit at Crate and Barrel for those in LA). Does that sound like too much? I am open for suggestions, experiences and feedback... HELP!
- I am so glad Ken will be home tomorrow!!!!

Yay! I'm home!
Registring is so much fun! Fun for the women who get to pick everything out and fun for the men who get to zap it with the laser gun! :) Three to four stores minimum so your guest have options is best. Remember to keep track of what you register for where or you'll end up with duplicates. I had put down the same bowl three times by accident because I loved it and got all three!
Sound like things are moving right along with everything!
