Truth in Advertising

We found it! All of it! Every last detail, documented for posterity! Excitement does not suffice.

After my blogging tonight, Ken and I were sitting in the office on adjacent computers, and he asked me if I had gotten any email from eHarmony. For those of you who don't know, that is how we met. Yep, eHarmony! Anyway, I digress.

He had gotten some kind of email from them, and when he logged in to the website to have them further remove his profile, he stumbled across something that was worth every penny either of us ever paid. Ken was able to access all of our opening interactions, all 4 "stages" of eHarmony's rigmarole, there in color on his monitor.

I then followed his lead and logged on to see if I could still access my stuff, even though I had pulled myself from their system. Sure enough, I could. So we sat here, like 2 kids going back in forth reading our respective profiles, likes and dislikes, closed ended questions... You name it. Then, the piece de resistance - our letters.

Ken and I shared 2 weeks of letter writing before we moved to the phone. It was like getting to know eachother all over again. Not to mention, remembering what was happening in our lives at the time we met. The best part was that all of it was true. We discovered that neither of us lied or exaggerated or hid anything. We were both up front, honest and completely ourselves. Voi La! Look what happens when you let your guard down and are just who you are.

I am even more in love with this man tonight than I thought was possible -- thanks, again, to eHarmony!

Just read that. Very cool to have that to go back to. B) If I don't say it often enough, congrats to both of you!
