Well. It's official. The honeymoon is booked! The best piece is that neither of our heads exploded and we came in at budget, which was even better. There were a lot of options out there, and we did our due dilligence. We decided to use both a travel agent and our own web research to help in the process. The requirements we gave to the travel agent were that we wanted to be on the ocean, it should be an all-inclusive resort and we wanted to be able to go on a glass-bottom boat tour and see dolphins.
After meeting with the travel agent, we narrowed it down to Costa Rica, Jamaica, the Bahamas and Cancun/Cozymel. After looking at the options in each of the locations, we decided on Jamaica and further narrowed it down to a specific beach, even - Negril beach. There were two super-inclusive resorts that we identified. SuperClub's Grand Lido resort and Sandals @ Negril. After researching both resorts and doing some price comparison, we have a winner folks! The Grand Lido Negril it will be. Eight days and Seven night in Jamaica! WOO HOO!
We're wondering - can we skip the wedding and just go straight for the honeymoon? No? Damn.
Also, our florist rules. While we were getting frustrated over a lack of return phone calls (more on that at a later date), she finally managed to reign us in. Wn't go into too many details, but it was something well deserved.

Oh you will LOVE Jamaica! It's where Brian and I went for our honeymoon. We stayed at the Sandals in Ocho Rios and had sooo much fun! And since everything was included and plus we got all these cool extras we spent almost no money while we were there!!
Amanda - Thanks. We are soooooo looking forward to it. It came down to Sandals and SuperClubs - SuperClub's Ultimate Upgrade promo eventually sold us. Aside from the tours we want to take, we are assuming that we'll not have to spend much, which is great when you are on your honeymoon!
