Exhaling

Things are getting checked off of our to do list at what feels like a rapid fire pace all of a sudden. We have the date, the location, the officiant, the invitations ( I LOVE REXCRAFT!!!), the cake, catering and DJ (all included in the location), AND we are down to a final 3 on photographers (J&J Photo, Elegant Images and Steve Keegan), 2 on florists and shhh, don't tell -- I found my dress! (A Georgeous Gown Bridal Boutique -- the owner is wonderful and top notch customer service!)

All of this before the Bridal Spectacular next weekend. We have been forewarned -- it will be overwhelming and there will be a LOT of people trying to sell us stuff. But we are good to go. We are hoping to find some ideas for favors, though we really are liking the ideas that we are already toying with, and Ken has been promised cake, and lots of it!

Rumor also has it that every vendor has something to give as a gift and there are tons of prize giveaways, from wedding cakes to honeymoon packages and diamond rings. I am full intending to walk away from this as a lucky winner of something. Though, truth be told, I already have the best prize a girl could ask for. (gag now... ) Ken! Ken and I are going for "Date Night" on Friday night, and then Teri and I are going on Saturday.

Oh! Did I mention, we may have found the bridesmaid dresses too! All that is left is the tuxedos, save the date cards and travel packets and such for the save the date packets. BUT -- we have until April to do those.

I think I can take a deep breath -- Ahhhhhhhh
